Description

CRIT Srl is pleased to invite you to its workshop on “Platforms & Tools for Digital Factories” organized within FoF-Impact Project, on 10th November, 2016 in Vignola (MO), Italy. All presentations will be done in Italian language.

The deployment of digital technologies (Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)) is expected to hold great potential within the manufacturing sector in terms of novel applications, innovative products and services as well as new business models.

The workshop aims to present the exploitable results of running projects to the local industrial ecosystem. Participants in “Factories of the Future” (FoF) projects will have the opportunity to present them while focusing on the tangible, exploitable outcome and aiming at stimulating the industrial uptake of project results.

FoF-Impact is a two-year European project coordinated by EFFRA and funded through the Factories of the Future PPP (Grant agreement number 637212). FoF-Impact is a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) whose objective is to increase the impact of the European Union’s ‘Factories of the Future’ partnership under Horizon 2020. Indeed, FoF-Impact aims to speed up and increase the exploitation and up-take of ‘Factories of the Future’ project results.

FoF Projects

beincpps

www.beincpps.eu – BEinCPPS

BEinCPPS project aims to integrate and experiment a Future Internet-based machine-factory-cloud service platform firstly intensively in five selected S3 Vanguard regions, afterwards extensively in all European regions, by involving local competence centers and manufacturing SMEs. The final aim of this IA is to dramatically improve the adoption of CPPSs all over Europe by means of the creation, nurturing and flourishing of CPS-driven regional innovation ecosystems, made of competence centers, manufacturing enterprises and IT SMEs.

daedalus

http://www.synesis-consortium.eu/competence-center/ – DAEDALUS

Financed by the European Commission, Daedalus has been conceived to enable the full exploitation of the CPS concept of virtualized intelligence, through the adoption of a completely distributed automation platform based on IEC-61499 standard. Fostering the creation of a Digital Ecosystem that could go beyond the current limits of manufacturing control systems, the project proposes an ever-growing market of innovative solutions for the design, engineering, production and maintenance of plants’ automation.

fitman

www.fitman-fi.eu – FITMAN

The mission of the FITMAN (Future Internet Technologies for MANufacturing industries) project is to provide the FI PPP (Future Internet Public-Private Partnership Programme) Core Platform with 10 industry-led use case trials in the domains of Smart, Digital and Virtual Factories of the Future.

maya

www.maya-euproject.com – MAYA

MAYA aims at developing simulation methodologies and multidisciplinary tools for the design, engineering and management of CPS-based (Cyber Physical Systems) Factories, in order to strategically support production-related activities during all the phases of the factory life-cycle, from the integrated design of the product – process – production system, through the optimization of the running factory, till the dismissal/reconfiguration phase.

robust-planet

www.robustplanet.eu – RobustPlaNet

RobustPlaNet aims at developing technology-based business approaches that will drastically change the current rigid supply chain mechanisms and the current product-based business models into collaborative and robust production networks able to timely deliver innovative product services in very dynamic and unpredictable global environments.
