About us

We are a private consulting company established in 2000 on the initiative of 14 prestigious Emilia-Romagna companies, with the dual purpose of creating a technology broker capable of finding the best solutions to specific problems, ideas and innovation needs in the international context, and of having a network for sharing technological solutions and best practices. Over the years, this network has expanded and we currently have 29 partners.

We specialize in research and analysis of technical-scientific information and in development of research projects.

We offer specific activities and innovation support services to the excellent suppliers of our partner companies, forming the Network of Endorsed Suppliers (NES). This network mainly consists of medium and small enterprises with high technological content processes and competencies “accredited” by one of our members. Currently, the Network of Endorsed Suppliers comprises 21 companies.

Moreover, we are part of significant national and international innovation networks, including EFFRA (European Factories of the Future Research Association), SPIRE (Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency), and the Rete Alta Tecnologia Emilia Romagna. We remain actively engaged in developing new services to support innovation.

As CRIT we address all companies and intermediate parties (entities and institutions, associations, etc.), offering Technology Scouting, Innovation Development and R&D Funding services. However, activities related to Collaborative Innovation, involving discussions among companies on shared technological topics, are reserved for companies within our network, specifically partners and NES.

In 2023, 30 technology scouting events were held for both members and external companies, along with 47 collaborative innovation events, that involved more than 900 people, and 17 projects. Among these projects, 10 were funded by the European Commission, and 7 received funding at the regional or national level.
