Design of plastic products – Basic level

CRIT organizes an inter-company training course on the theme “Design of manufactured articles in plastic materials“, with the collaboration of the Proplast Consortium and of FM Srl (CRIT Endorsed Suppliers Network), a company specialized in the production and design of plastic artefacts and capable of conducting industrial research projects related to the world of polymeric materials thanks to its FM Lab.
Course contents
The course will last 16 hours (4 half days lasting 4 hours) and will take place from September 2016 at CRIT.
The following topics will be covered during the sessions:
- Properties of polymeric materials
- Transformation technologies
- Design of injection-molded items in polymeric material
- Analytical techniques compared to identify the problems on manufactured goods and materials
Each training day will be organized so as to provide participants with both a theoretical introduction and a practical phase, through the performance of group activities.

- Designers and technical representatives of Research and Development
- All those interested in exploring the characteristics and properties of polymers and the related transformation technologies / analysis methods, with particular emphasis on the design of injection-molded plastic products.
