Lean World Class: Lean methodologies in Operations – Visit to the Marini Spa plant

Marini Spa is a leading company in the production of bituminous conglomerate plants and machines for the construction and maintenance of roads.

Over the last decade the company has made significant investments in the production sector in order to internally realize the main and most important components of the plants; In fact, Marini is able to carry out all the main phases of the production process: from sheet metal cutting and bending, to component construction, assembly, sandblasting and painting surface treatments, construction and assembly of electrical and electronic equipment, and development of software.

In this perspective, Marini has also started a journey, together with Bonfiglioli Consulting, of Lean World Class® aimed at reorganizing the company and the main production flows according to the Lean Thinking logic.

The meeting is a guided tour in the field to understand the logics and actions that have been implemented to eliminate waste. The aim is to provide a view on the Lean operating philosophy, through the presentation of a real application case. Some of the real results that can be found will be:
