The CTS – Technical Scientific Committee – is composed of all the Technical / R & D Directors of the CRIT Associated Companies. It is the body that directs, evaluates and validates the collaborative activities of the CRIT. It meets 3 times a year, normally at a partner company. On June 22nd the meeting will be hosted by Walvoil. The meeting is reserved for the Technical Director of the CRIT member companies.
CTS members will be able to visit the Walvoil plant in Bibbiano (RE) and deepen the integration strategy implemented by the companies of the Interpump group through PLM / PDM tools with Davide Mesturini, Head of Research & Development, and Matteo Orlandelli, Head of Technical Information Technology Walvoil.
After the update on CRIT activities, Marcello Pellicciari (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) will speak with a talk on “Realistic Simulation and Digital Twin“.
Marcello Pellicciari is an associate professor at the DIEF-Engineering Department “Enzo Ferrari”, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He deals with methods of integrated design and “X-in-the-Loop” simulation for the development of sustainable and energy-efficient robotic systems and of “zero-defect” robotic automatic machines and production lines. He is an expert in scientific coordination of major research projects, for example the AREUS-Automation project and Robotics for EUropean Sustainable manufacturing (www.areus-project.eu). He is the owner of the “Machine Design” and “Design of automatic machines and industrial robots” courses.
