CRIT organizes an inter-company training course on the theme “Methods and tools for the analysis and reduction of production costs“, with the collaboration of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The course will last 16 hours (2 days of 8 hours) and will take place on Thursday 16 June and Thursday 23 June at CRIT.
The following topics will be covered during the sessions:
Each training day will be organized so as to provide participants with both a theoretical introduction and a practical phase, through the performance of group activities.
Dott. Ing. Margherita Peruzzini, Engineering Department “Enzo Ferrari”, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
It is possible to request information on how to participate by completing the online registration form using the “Request information” button located at the top of the page.
Classes will be held from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the CRIT headquarters on the following dates:
Thursday, June 16th
Thursday, June 23rd
First day Thursday 16 June
Module 1. The industrial costs landscape and the LifeCycle Costing philosophy
Design techniques are introduced for the estimation of industrial costs (Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) and how the design choices affect industrial costs. The principles of LifeCycle Costing are presented, analyzing the cost structure in the company. We analyze in detail the different methodologies for cost management in the company and cost estimation in the design phase.
Module 2. Knowledge-based approach and tools for estimating industrial costs
The knowledge-based approach is described which is the basis of the main tools for estimating the industrial costs available on the market or born from research projects. Some knowledge-based software tools for cost analysis are discussed and the main functionalities are discussed.
Second day Thursday, June 23rd
Module 3. Methodologies for the analysis and reduction of production costs
The analysis of the effect of the product characteristics defined in the design phase on the cost for different types of products, the analysis of the data needed to analyze production costs, and more generally the organization of an analysis project and are analyzed in depth. cost reduction.
Module 4: Project examples for managing and reducing costs
In-depth examples of projects are explored for different purposes: cost analysis in the design phase, optimization in the industrialization phase, management in the purchase / production phase, industrial case studies.
