SPRING – Setting the framework for the enhanced impact of SPIRE projects

The increased industrial absorption of funded projects’ results is at the centre of the SPRING project. The project stems from the necessity to guarantee a major impact to the SPIRE projects and thus to move toward the objectives of the 2030 roadmap: increasing resource and energy efficiency in process industries of the EU. Instead of focusing on a small number of projects, SPRING is intended to develop and provide, starting from some case study projects, the methodologies required to improve the impact of all the SPIRE projects.
The SPRING project aims at improving the progress of SPIRE objectives and the return on projects’ investments. The project seeks to achieve this result by meeting the needs of those who decide the adoption of process innovations and by detecting the barriers to their adoption.
