The webinar will gather iQonic project partners to present the technologies developed and two use cases in which these technologies have been applied.

The ALPES LASERS use case concerns the production of semiconductor lasers through a highly complex and customized manufacturing process involving several optical, physical and chemical parameters. Through the iQonic project, ALPES LASERS, together with partners ATLANTIS Engineering, CORE Innovation, BRUNEL University London and SENSAP Swiss, has developed a wafer scanning and image processing technique.

Prima Electro‘s use case concerns the demonstration of a laser manufacturing process for multi-step zero-defect fabrication of laser sources with increased quality. Through the iQonic project, Prima Electro aimed to reduce production time and diode rejection rate to eliminate defects during the production process, monitor quality and production steps, and automate production for greater customization, results achieved through work with partner Politecnico di Milano.

The webinar will be held in English on Thursday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the Zoom platform.
