Start-up Tech Analyst – Motor Valley Accelerator

for A-CRIT, the new Start-up Accelerator totaly owned by CRIT and guided in collaboration with Plug and Play. The Motor Valley Accelerator is a new start-up accelerator founded in 2020 and which will be placed in Modena. It will support the growth of Italian start-ups in the automotive and mobility fields and sees the participation of CDP, Fondazione di Modena and Unicredit.


The Start-up Tech Analyst supports the initiation and establishment of a new start up accelerator within automotive and mobility sector “Motor Valley Accelerator” placed in Modena. Specifically, the identified candidate, manages relationships with the corporate partners and start-ups, executes development and acceleration plans, supports start-ups in their implementation solutions and contributes to defining and closing agreements between partners, start-ups and other stakeholders. Lastly, the person will be responsible, in cooperation with the Technical Director, of italian and international start-up scouting.

  • Languages. Fluency in English and Italian (oral and written).
More information

Ideally, our person must be available to start in May 2021 and must be available to relocate to Modena (place of work). Remote working will be accepted only for a portion of time.
During on-boarding period an on-the-job training program with senior colleagues will be provided.
The chosen candidate will be introduced into the company with an Apprenticeship contract.

Junior Technology Advisor


Main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Technology Scouting: research, analysis and synthesis about data and information of technological and scientific nature;
  • Monitoring and reporting on the technological scouting activities performed;
  • Monitoring technology evolution of specific sectors (eg: identifying new trends on short-medium term, explanation of case studies)
  • Support clients in identifying partners and technologies for digital transformation requirements
  • Sharing with the client short term results and gain insights for next steps

The ideal candidate is a newly graduate preferably in the following disciplines: computer engineering, automation engineering, electronics engineering or physics (a technical PhD is considered a plus), who is fluent in both written and spoken English with outstanding writing skills and the following personal attitudes and skills:
